Privacy Policy

The short version: Your photos and your OpenAI API key stay on your computer and go directly to OpenAI. We never see or store them. We only handle the information needed to sell you a license and support you.

1. Who this covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Nona Video LLC ("we," "us") handles information for the StagingLens desktop app and the staginglens.com website.

2. What stays on your computer

Your photos and staged images are stored on your own computer. When you stage a photo, the App sends it directly from your computer to OpenAI for processing. We do not receive, upload or store your photos.
Your OpenAI API key is stored only on your computer and is sent only to OpenAI. We never receive it.
Your projects and settings are saved locally on your computer.

3. Information we do handle

Purchase information. Checkout is handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email, billing address and payment details and processes your payment. We receive your name, email, order and subscription details, but never your full card number.
License validation. The App checks your license key with Lemon Squeezy to confirm your subscription is active. This check may include your license key and a device name or identifier so activations can be managed.
Support messages. If you contact us, we keep your message and email address to help you.
Website. Our web host may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and reliability. We don't use advertising trackers.

4. How we use information

We use this information to provide and validate your license, process your subscription, send receipts and important account or product notices, provide support, and improve StagingLens. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it except with service providers who help us run the business (such as Lemon Squeezy and our web and email hosts) or when required by law.

5. OpenAI

Images you send to OpenAI through your API key are handled under your agreement with OpenAI and OpenAI's own privacy policy. Please review OpenAI's policies to understand how it treats data sent through its API.

6. Emails

We send transactional emails about your purchase, subscription and important product updates. If we send marketing emails, you can unsubscribe anytime using the link in the email.

7. Data retention and your choices

We keep purchase and support records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by contacting us. Some records may need to be kept by us or Lemon Squeezy for legal reasons.

8. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the information we handle. Because your photos and API key stay on your computer, keeping your computer secure also protects them.

9. Children

StagingLens is a business tool and isn't intended for anyone under 18.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll post the update here and change the effective date. For material changes, we'll notify active subscribers by email.
