Changelog

What has changed in StagingLens, newest first. Dates are when each build was finished, and builds dated before October 26, 2026 were pre-launch.

  • Version 0.6.58

If OpenAI rejects your API key, StagingLens now pauses the remaining queued work. Finished results, saved versions and approvals are kept, and you can resume once the key is fixed.

  • Version 0.6.56

An approval now counts only after it has been saved to your project. If the save fails, Review stays open and shows the error, and no new work starts.

  • Public launch

StagingLens is available to everyone from the StagingLens store, with a 30-day free trial on every new subscription.

  • Version 0.6.53

Local edits that come back with a near-solid black selected area are now rejected before they're added to your photo. The app explains that a retry is a separate paid request.

  • Versions 0.6.50 to 0.6.52

New edit tools in Review: open a staged version, select an area and describe the change. A local edit can cover up to 80% of the photo. For whole-room changes, use Rebuild this angle.

  • Version 0.6.46 for Windows

A Sent to Lightroom Classic notice now appears after a transfer is queued. It changes to Imported into Lightroom Classic only when the plug-in confirms completion.

  • Version 0.6.43

A clearer way to select photos, and a safer way to change a room's primary angle. Changing it clears approvals on the room's other views and doesn't generate new images.

  • Version 0.6.41

Exterior Sunset: change an exterior photo's sky and lighting to twilight, sunset or night time, from the Room control.
